From Joomatic site (http://setup.joomatic.com) will be possible to install Joomla with only few clicks. Joomatic Setup will ask you for FTP and MySQL informations (those ones that the provider give to you in an email) and after it will install a ready-on Joomla System into the your relative internet space. With Joomatic Setup, after the installation is completed, you can access your Administration Panel to add more software packages using a very simple setup/update utility. I'm working also to make Joomatic Setup Installation Process possible using an external Java Utility that get you capable to enable Joomla into your intranet or local host (your pc for example).
Joomla is a great project that have a large and active users community. The Joomla Core, as also the greater part of third party add-ons, evolve constantly complicating the life of final users and/or system administrators.
Joomatic Setup simplify all this activities for a better experience. Joomatic Setup try to standardize the Joomla project and to find a better Enterprise, and all purpose, compatibility and conformity.
The features of Joomatic Setup (using Joomatic Setup Client) are:
1) Simplified installation of pre-configured and Joomla neutral (without hacks) solutions.
2) Automated installation of categorized add-ons that users can discover through thematic channels. 3) Updating of installed Jooma add-ons through a centralized server.
