JOOMATIC packages rely on an internal update system that give you a "check for updates" link under the principal menu. With this function you will never need to uninstall the extensions to upgrade an older version (or at least this will happen only few times for possible bugs inside the updater... :( ). However this function will be declared vs stable only when the first JOOMATIC SETUP release will be released. With JOOMATIC SETUP you will obtain updates for all JOOMATIC packages as for JOOMLA CORE and all SUPPORTED THIRDY PARTS extensions.

Joomatic packages are divided into four principal categories: SETUP, ADMIN, DEVEL AND TOOLS. Each of these categories have many tasks in progress and they are executed with different priorities. Below are reported the forecast for first releases availability:
